FERTILIZER EXPORTS HITS A HIGHER RECORD IN VIETNAM

Reported by General Administration of Vietnam's Customs, in the first nine month of 2022, nearly 1.39 million tons of chemical fertilizer were shipped and exported with $886 million in Vietnam, soaring over 45% in volume and 166% in values compared with the same period last year.

After nearly a year of wild swings in global markets and soaring fertilizer prices due to political and economic uncertainty, many Vietnamese fertilizer producers have seized the opportunity to boost overseas business.

Beside, as domestic demand stands at about 11 million tons each year, while Vietnam factories are asked to produce over 29 million tons annually,companies have been trying to seek markets and boost exports.
