Kazakhstan needs 703 thousand tons of fertilizers for the next year

As reported by the Industrial and Infrastructure Development deparment of Kazakhstan, 703 thousand tons of chemical fertilizer(chemical fertilizer machinery) will be needed by the country(604 thousand tons of fertilisers in 2021)

As of today, half of mineral fertilizers are imported from abroad, Kazakhstan is planning to implement several large fertilizer projects in order to reduce the dependence on imports from other countries.

For example, KazAzot company intend to build a complex phase capacity to produce urea and ammonium nitrate by 2026, which will be 500,000 tons of ammonia and the same amount of urea and ammonium nitrate per year.
