VILLAGERS CELEBRATE UPCOMING CHINESE FARMER＇S HARVEST FESTIVAL

Agricultural Department of China has set the annual Autumn Equinox as the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival since 2018, becoming the first national festival for farmers. And chinese farmers will celebrate their fourth Chinese Farmer's Harvest Festival on September 23.

Ma Youxiang, vice minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said at a press conference on 1st Sept, 23th Sept marks the fourth harvest festival for chinese farmers. In the past three years, the festival has become stronger than before, with distinctive features and expanded influence. It has gradually become a popular festival for farmers, a symbol of chinese farming civilization and a window for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.
