China Exported & Imported Fertilizer Data
Preliminary statistics from China customs show that China exported 2,001,000 tons of various mineral fertilizers and fertilizers (excluding ammonium chloride, potassium nitrate and animal and plant organic fertilizers, the same below) in March 2019, up by 24.0% year on year. Exports totaled $563 million, up 40.8 percent from a year earlier.
From January to March 2019, China exported a total of 5.523 million tons of various mineral fertilizers and fertilizers, up 45.2% year-on-year.Total exports totaled us $1.554 billion, up 66.7 percent year-on-year. In terms of fertilizer import, in March 2019, China imported 990,000 tons of various minerals and chemical fertilizers, with an import amount of 320 million us dollars. China mainly imports potassium chloride, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizers. From January to March 2019, China imported 3.461 million tons of various minerals and chemical fertilizers, up 4.0% year-on-year.The cumulative amount of imports was us $1.094 billion, up 25.0% year on year.
