The Board Application Of Drone In Modern Agriculture

Today,let’s talk about the board application of drone in modern agriculture.The drone, also named unmanned aerial vehicle,which is applied boardly in morden agriculture.The spraying operation(such as seed,foliar fertilizer,pesticide) can be reliazed through ground remote control or navigation flight control.Drones are becoming a critical tool for farmers,a data indicates that many farmers are already benifiting by drone technology.

Advantage:

• Free takeoff&landing areas,do not need a runway
• Flying at the low altitude of several yards
• High operational efficiency–4 workers as a group,they can spray 50acre/day; 120acre,2 hours finished by drones
• Helped increase the penetrability of fog flow on crops, control effect is high, long distance remote control operation
• Avoid the risk of exposure to pesticides spraying, spraying to improve the security
• Unmanned drone spraying technology can save at least 50% of pesticide use and 90% of water consumption by spraying, which will greatly reduce resource cost.
• Help farmers greatly reduce the cost,$65,000 can be saved by 8000 yield per acre
• Fertilizer can be sprayed at night,aviod water loss from plant daytime

In Agriculture, an important use for drones is thermal imaging. Multi-spectral sensors are mounted on a drone, which give farmers a valuable picture of how their crops—specifically crop canopies—perform under different growing methods. Imaging data from a drone is a good indicator of crop vigor and canopy stress.
