In order to identify the composition of various water-soluble fertilizers, we generally use N, P2O5, K2O to indicate different ratios of N, P and K nutrients. For example, 20-20-20 means that the total nitrogen content of this kind of water soluble fertilizer is 20%, phosphorus pentoxide content is 20%, potassium oxide content is 20%. In addition,  there are generally some bags of water-soluble fertilizer are printed with “N-P2O5-K2O + TE” as well as many farmers will wonder what the meaning of TE?

TE is the abbreviation of trace elements. “N-P2O5-K2O + TE” means that the fertilizer contains trace elements as well as manufacturers generally will describe the trace element content and morphology of product. The trace elements that can be added mainly are boron, iron, zinc, copper, molybdenum. We didn’t need to worry about crop deficiency when we apply little chelating trace element fertilizer, as the absorption and utilization of chelating trace element is several times of inorganic trace elements. In addition, the mixture of different elements will not produce antagonism, so the water soluble fertilizer were added chelating trace elements is pretty good.
