Dosage of Medium and Trace Element Fertilizer
What are the dosage of medium and trace element of fertilizer for crops? The dosage of medium element on soil is about the same with nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) or even more, but that of trace element is less, such as most field crops with only 1-2 kilograms of zinc sulfate and 0.5-1 kilograms of borax. The dosage for cash crops such as fruit and vegetables is a little higher but still does not exceed 3-5 kilograms per mu.
Therefore, people usually mix the trace element with soil or decomposed manure and apply them with base fertilizer together in the way of furrow dressing or hole fertilization.
In addition, most mixture of trace element with phosphate fertilizer produces indissolvable matters which lower mutual fertility. So the two are not used together.
